Thank you for visiting our website.  My family and I live on a 2.5 acre property, just north of Adelaide.  

I have been involved with bull breeds for most of my life, and have recently found the wonderful American Staffordshire Terrier.

We have just starting showing our beautiful dogs, with great results.

These dogs are wonderful family pets and we hope to educate the public to fully appreciate all of the qualities we have learnt to love and enjoy in this amazing breed!

We hope you enjoy visiting our site and meeting our four legged family.

Being a Foster Mum

 

Hello, I would like to tell you about another part of my life.

Being a foster mum.  I have  had the very important task of looking after sick and injured puppies  over the past few years. 

It has been extremely hard and tiring work.  Some days, it can be devastating and I don’t know how many times I’ve cried  tears of frustration and sorrow.  Although, most of the time it’s the most rewarding thing in my life.  Saving someone else’s. 

Once, I had an injured puppy in my care, who almost didn’t make it through the night and I nursed him back to health.   I gave the puppy back to the breeder, who sold him some time later as a healthy and happy puppy.  The new owner came up to me and said “So you're the person I have to thank for saving my puppy’s life?  Thank you”.

I’ve never asked for anything other than a happy and healthy puppy at the end of every ordeal.

This thankyou from a perfect stranger will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I am grateful for the experience and use  all of the knowledge gained when caring for my tribe of fur babies.   And you know, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

But still they want to see me go, they want my breed to end. 

 

Will I see you sitting idly by?  You, whom I call my friend? 

 

You made me what I am today, you never saw me waiver. 

 

I’ve done my best to keep you safe.  Won’t you please return the favour?”
